Description

Deciduous, small tree or shrub, sought for small gardens, courtyards, and urban landscaping. It is known for its tidy growth habit, striking, mottled, exfoliating bark, and reliable summer flower. Produces large cone-shaped white flowers. Bark in shades of cinnamon, red-brown, and grey. Lime-green leaves in spring, turning deep green in summer, and bright red, orange, and yellow in autumn. Grows to approximately 3m x 2.5m.
