Description
A more upright variant of the London Plane. Symmetrical and tidy, this cultivar has a distinct pyramid or conical shape when young, becoming more vase-shaped with age, making it better for tighter spots. Large, leathery maple-like leaves that are deep green in summer, turning yellow-orange in autumn. Highly ornamental, flaky bark that sheds to reveal a cream-coloured, mottled pattern underneath. Generally reaches 10–12m in height and about 4-5m in width. Ideal for narrow spaces, streetscapes, and avenues
